Our story

A small studio, a stubborn refusal, and a very long night learning to pour wax.

Embercomb began with a simple goal: amazing candles without paraffin or harsh additives. What started as small-batch tests in a home kitchen became a commitment to clean ingredients — beeswax, coconut, and botanical fragrance, hand-poured in the United States.

We pour in small batches so every candle burns slow and even. We compose three scents for three kinds of rooms. And we put every ingredient on the label.

Each 9 oz vessel burns for approximately 100 hours when cared for properly. Trim the wood wick to 1/8 inch before each use, burn for 2–3 hours at a time, and let the full surface melt to the edge on the first burn.

Yes. The artisan ceramic vessel is designed to be repurposed once the candle is finished — as a small planter, a brush holder, a vessel for loose tea. Wash with warm soapy water after the last 1/2 inch of wax is gone.

Every candle is sourced and hand-poured in the United States. Orders on Amazon ship Prime; direct orders ship within two business days via carbon-neutral carriers.

Yes. Unused candles can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Used candles can be returned for store credit — scent is personal, and we'd rather you found one you love.
